Rare Authentic Pre-Columbian Green Serpentine stone figure from Mezcala Culture of Ancient Mexico. This artifact dates from the Late Pre-Classic period circa 300-100B.C. Strong figure in Green stone, male figure with hands folded on belly,beautiful deeply incised facial feature and carved at string-cut feature on rest of the body. Piece approx. 2 inches tall, red cinnabar remnants are visible on back of piece. Old museum quality repair (see pics).
